ETO FC seal championship glory on final matchday

ETO FC Győr secured the 2025/26 Fizz Liga title after a dramatic final round of the season. A narrow 1–0 victory away at Kisvárda FC was enough to keep ETO at the top of the table and seal the club’s fifth Hungarian championship.

The decisive goal came early in the match, allowing ETO to control the game and celebrate a historic triumph at the final whistle. The title marks a major achievement for the Győr-based side, which managed to hold off strong competition throughout the campaign.

Meanwhile, Ferencvárosi TC finished as runners-up after a 3–0 victory over Zalaegerszegi TE in the closing round. Paksi FC claimed the bronze medal thanks to a 3–1 away win against Diósgyőri VTK.

Debreceni VSC ended the season in fourth place after defeating Újpest FC 2–1 in another important fixture of the final round.

At the other end of the table, both Diósgyőri VTK and Kazincbarcikai SC were relegated from the top division. They will be replaced next season by two clubs from the Hungarian capital, Budapest Honvéd FC and Vasas SC, who earned promotion to the top flight.
