Sándor Csányi re-elected to UEFA ExCo while also becoming UEFA and FIFA vice president

The Hungarian Football Federation president has been re-elected as a member of the UEFA Executive Committee – its highest decision-making body – for another four years at the UEFA Congress in Rome. Sándor Csányi will also represent the interests of the continent as a Vice President of FIFA, whilst Hungary's top football administrator also becomes a Vice President of UEFA.

Fradi restart NB I with a win but title rivals Vidi falter

League-leaders Ferencváros defeated Honvéd 1-0 to go eight points clear at the top in round 19 of the OTP Bank Liga as MOL Vidi fell to a shock 3-0 home defeat against Puskás Akadémia. Elsewhere, Paks picked up three points away to MTK, Debrecen and Újpest played out a 0-0 draw, Diósgyőr salvaged a point at home to Mezőkövesd and Kisvárda won on the road at Haladás.


Marco Rossi: There couldn’t be a better ambassador for UEFA Euro 2020 than Gera

Zoltán Gera was named Budapest Ambassador for UEFA Euro 2020 earlier this week and Hungary Men's head coach Marco Rossi, under whom Gera works as a coach, believes the 97-time capped former forward is the best possible choice to popularise the tournament which will be co-hosted by Budapest next summer.

500 days until UEFA Euro 2020: Zoltán Gera is the Budapest Ambassador!

The Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) announced on Tuesday that the official ambassador of UEFA Euro 2020 venue Budapest will be none other than 97-time Hungary international forward Zoltán Gera.


The heart of Hungarian football in recent times; the Groupama Aréna

The Groupama Aréna is the home stadium of Hungary’s largest and most successful club Ferencvárosi TC, and since being opened in 2014 has also been the home venue of the Hungarian national team while the national stadium is rebuilt. Over the past four and a half years, the stadium has seen Champions League and Europa League- qualifier action, as well as hosting four Hungarian Cup finals to-date and, on one occasion, the Hungarian women’s national team too.
