The draw has been made for this coming season's UEFA Men's Futsal Champions League and Hungary's title-winners find themselves facing Spanish, Kazakh and Russian opponents.
Berettyóújfalu won their fourth league title last season and will host this season's Champions League qualifying round. Last year, the team didn't actually win their domestic title but Győr's withdrawal from the league meant Berettyóújfalu took their place in European club futsal's premier competition. That time, they contested the qualifying mini-tournament in Slovenia but weren't able to progress.
This coming season, Berettyóújfalu have been drawn to face Kairat Almaty of Kazakhstan, Elpozo Murcia of Spain and Sport CLub KPRF of Russia in qualifying Group 4. The matches will take place between 8th and 13th October with only the top three teams qualifying for the Elite Round draw which will take place on 18th October.
