Hungary ranked 50th in latest FIFA list
Following September's European Qualifiers, FIFA has released its latest national-team rankings which confirms Hungary's men have slipped back five places.
Since the most recent rankings list was released on 25th July, Hungary have lost a friendly 2-1 in Montenegro and a European Championship qualifier at home to Slovakia by the scoreline.
Belgium continue to lead the rankings but Brazil and France have swapped positions, the 2018 world champions moving into second place.
Marco Rossi's Hungary team, now in 50th spot, are currently preparing to face Croatia in Split on 10th October and then Azerbaijan at home three days later.
Hungary's last two fixtures of the year will be the opening match of the new Puskás Aréna against Uruguay on 15th November and a potentially crucial fixture away in Wales in their last European Championship qualifying group fixture.
