Hungary Women travel to Spain tournament

The tournament will mostly be contested by nations ranked higher than Hungary, for example, Belgium who are placed 20th in the world rankings, Russia (24th), Scotland (23rd), Ireland (31st), Wales (33rd) and Poland (30th), with only Slovakia (44) trailing Hungary (43) in the list.

Head coach Margret Kratz’s team will play Russia in La Manga on Day 1 in Group B before taking to the pitch for two more matches before the end of the tournament.

Matchday 1 fixtures:

February 16th:

Group A:
(A1) Wales - Scotland 15:30
(A2) Slovakia - Belgium 20:30

Group B:
(B1) Ireland - Poland 15:30
(B2) Hungary - Russia 20:30

The second matchday will be held on February 19th and the third on February 22nd, the fixtures to be based on the results thus far.

Before then, Kratz's squad will meet in Telki on 8th February to participate in all-day tests.
