MLSZ accepts Újpest postponement request

Following an inspection by experts of the playing surface at Újpest's Ferenc Szusza Stadion, the Hungarian Football Federation decided on Wednesday that it would not allow matches to be played there because in its current condition, the pitch would endanger players and is therefore unsuitable for use.

Subsequently, the Federation's Competitions Committee has now accepted the Újpest club's request to postpone this Saturday's scheduled OTP Bank Liga 20th-round fixture with Ferencváros. The match will be played at a later date, which is yet to be confirmed.
