Women's Hungarian Cup: Defending champions FTC to face Puskás FC

Two women's NB II teams will continue their exciting cup runs after they were both drawn to face top-tier opposition in the Hungarian Cup quarter-finals. Puskás FC will take on title-holders FTC-Telekom, while Nyíregyháza must overcome MTK if they are to reach the semi-final stage.

Only eight teams remain in the competition, six NB I and two NB II clubs still holding dreams of progressing past their quarter-final ties, which will be held on 6th and 7th March. The winners will be decided on the basis of just one match and in the event of a draw, there won't be any extra-time, penalty kicks instead following immediately.

Monday's draw resulted in the following four ties:

Puskás FC vs FTC-Telekom
DVTK vs Kelen SC
Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC vs MTK Hungária FC
Astra-ALEF HFC-Üllő vs KÉSZ-St. Mihály FC
