MVFC to represent Hungary in Futsal Champions League

MLSZ's Executive Committee has announced that the MVFC Berettyóújfalu club will represent Hungary in the 2020/2021 UEFA men's Futsal Champions League. The futsal league season just gone was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic and the championship eventually brought to a premature end. The club from the town of Berettyóújfalu was the reigning champion from 2019 and also led the league table when the campaign was halted.
In other news, MLSZ board members also underlined the importance of a record number of teams applying to enter the women’s NB II next season while examining which ones may be admitted. If such growth continues, it is conceivable that the the league system would be amended in future.
MLSZ's NB I committee has also confirmed that Zsolt Haraszti, the managing director of Paksi FC, will represent all OTP Bank Liga teams at future meetings.
