OTP Bank Liga 28th round:

Goalscorers: Knezevic (8., pen), Tamás N. (90.), Kaposvár: Szakály A. (23.)
Puskás Akadémia FC: Tóth B. - Szolnoki (Radics, 29.), Meissner, Hadzsiev, Deutsch L. - van Nieff - Slagveer (Tamás N., 75.), Favorov (Urblík, 60.), Knezevic, Gyurcsó (Nagy Zs., 75.) - Vanecek (Mebrahtu, 60.)
Kaposvári Rákóczi FC: Pogacsics - Vachtler (Nagy J., 74.), Ur, Szabó A., Hadaró (Fodor M., 30.) - Nagy T. (Csiki, 61.), Trebotic - Pintér Á. (Borbély, 46.), Szakály A., Palic (Balázs Zs., 61.) - Ádám

Puskás Akadémia were out of the traps quickly against Kaposvár and soon converted their early dominance into a lead, Josip Knezevic scoring from the penalty spot after just eight minutes. To their credit, the visitors rallied and equalised a quarter of an hour later through Attila Szakály's strike but the hosts held their nerve and secured all three points in the final minute of the match when substitute Nándor Tamás's precise finish from eight metres beat Pogacsics in the away-team goal. This result confirms that Kaposvár will be relegated to Hungary's second tier.

Diósgyőri VTK 1-1 ZTE FC (0-0)
Goalscorers: Szépe (68., own goal), ZTE: Bolla (80.)
Diósgyőr: Danilovic - Sestakov (Vági, 79.), Polgár, Brkovic, Memolla - Hasani (Korbély, 60.), Adukor (Márkvárt, 60.), Molnár G., Iszlai, Kiss T. (Cortes, 82.) - Ivanovszki (Tabakovic, 60.)
ZTE FC: Demjén - Bobál D., Szépe, Katanec, Tamás K. (Mitrovic, 70.) - Lesjak (Bolla, 60.), Babati (Bobál G., 70.), Bedi, Ostrek (Bőle, 60.) - Ikoba (Radó, 60.)

Both sides started cautiously in this encounter, one shot on target each the total of both side's efforts in the first half and the pattern of the game didn't change much after the break either. It took a headed own goal by Zalaegerszeg's János Szépe to break the deadlock in the 68th minute but Bendeguz Bolla spared his teammate's blushes 12 minutes later with a firm, back-post volley which squeezed inside the post. Both teams pushed for a winner but without success, Diósgyőr remaining in fifth position in the league and Zalaegerszeg extending their unbeaten run to six matches as they seek to avoid the drop.

Paksi FC 2-2 Ferencvárosi TC (0-0)
Goalscorers: PAKS: Windecker (92., pen), Sajbán (96.), FTC: Blazic (56.), Kharatin (81.)
Paksi FC: Rácz G. - Osváth, Lenzsér, Gévay, Poór (Szabó J., 75.) - Windecker, Haraszti (Bartha, 63.), Bertus - Hahn (Sajbán, 81.), Böde (Kulcsár D., 62.), Könyves
Ferencvárosi TC: Dibusz - Lovrencsics (Botka, 65.), Blazic, Otigba, Heister - Sigér (Vécsei, 81.), Kharatin - Zubkov, Isael (Somália, 65.), Tokmac (Skvarka, 76.) - Boli (Sihnevich, 76.)

Ferencváros showed the confidence of reigning champions and league leaders by dominating the first half away at Paks and then easing into a two-goal lead in the second period thanks to close-range goals from Miha Blazic and Ihor Kharatin. However, József Windecker's 92nd-minute penalty set Fradi nerves jangling and a remarkable, late recovery was complete when substitute Máté Sajbán scooped Attila Osváth's low cross past goalkeeper Dénes Dibusz and into the visitors' net from barely two metres out. This point keeps Ferencváros nine points clear of MOL Fehérvár after round 28 with just five games left, while at the end of the table, Paks move two points clear of Debrecen in the relegation zone.
