Fantastic Fradi defeat Celtic in Scotland!
Ferencváros posted a sensational, shock victory in the Champions League 2nd qualifying round yesterday as Serhiy Rebrov's team beat Glasgow Celtic 2-1 away in Scotland.
UEFA Champions League Qualifying Round 2:

Celtic Park, behind closed doors, ref.: Allard Lindhout (Netherlands)
Goalscorers: CEL: Christie (53) FTC: Sigér (7), Nguen (75)
Celtic: Barkasz - Elhamed (Frimpong, 78), Julien, Ajer, Taylor - Brown, C. McGregor - Forrest (Ajeti, 78), Christie, Elyounoussi - Ntcham

Celtic started with great momentum, Ferencváros settling for a counterattacking strategy from the first minute, and Dénes Dibusz being the first of the two sides' goalkeeper to be forced into action. However, the first goal was scored by the Hungarian champions, when a clearance from a seventh-minute corner initiated a quick counter attack which Dávid Sigér finished in style with a low, accurate, long-range drive. Rebrov's tactics worked perfectly for a good 40 minutes, the hosts failing to really test an extremely well-drilled and disciplined Ferencváros defence.
For the last five minutes of the half, Celtic moved up a gear and began creating situations, but Dibusz was equal to the test. Celtic did equalise shortly after the half-time break through Christie's snap-shot and only a few minutes later, only the crossbar denied them a 2-1 lead. Instead, the pouring rain, it was Fradi who punished their Scottish rivals against the run of play when Tokmac Nguen, fresh from his brace of goals against Djurgarden in the last round, scored from a tight angle in the 75th minute to hand his side a precious advantage.
Although Celtic pressed in the final ten minutes, their game lacked the ability to create clear chances in the final third, thus Fradi saw out the match without any further concessions and now progress to the third round, the draw for which will be held on Monday.
