Fradi earn first Europa League points with Nice victory
Pascal Jansen's side took an early lead which they never relinquished against their French opponents, thus earning their first points of this UEFA Europa League group-stage campaign.
It was a 15th-minute own goal from Canadian Moise Lumpungo which handed Hungary's reigning league champions the lead against French club Nice in the Groupama Aréna and it was an advantage the hosts preserved with little difficulty, especially once Nice's Pablo Rosario had been red-carded for a late foul on Saldenhat.
With this win, Ferencváros have now jumped into a play-off qualification spot and will look to further improve their position when they travel to face Dinamo Kyiv in Hamburg in two weeks' time.
