Hungarian Cup: BKV welcome Fradi and Kazincbarcika host Honved

The draw for the seventh round of the men's Hungarian Cup has thrown up a third-tier opponent for defending champions MOL Fehervar, while 2018 winners Újpest will travel to Merkantil Liga club Ajka.

The 7th round of the Hungarian Cup comprises 64 teams and will be held on October 30th. At the draw at MLSZ headquarters last Friday, the OTP Bank Liga teams were kept apart so they could not be drawn to face each other.

The contests will continue to be settled in a single 90-minute match, with two 15-minute periods of extra-time and a penalty shootout possible in the event of a draw. As always, the home team will be from the lower division of the two or, in the event of two teams playing each other from the same division, the one which is drawn first. Only 32 teams will remain after this round.

Debrecen will face a County division 1 club in Tatabányai SC, while Újpest will travel to second-tier Ajka. Kaposvár will not have an easy job either, travelling to NB II's Duna Aszfalt TLC in Tiszakécske. An OTP Bank Liga team will also be present in Nográd County, Paks being drawn to face County Division One side Salgótarján.
