Hungary Men boosted by new squad arrivals

A further three players have joined up with the Hungarian national squad preparing for Saturday's Nations League home match against Germany.
Szabolcs Schön and Milos Kerkez started for Hungary's Under-21 national team on Tuesday when the side played a European Championship qualifier in Riga, Latvia, after which both returned to Telki on Wednesday evening, and then joined up with the full national squad on Thursday afternoon. In addition to these two young footballers, Dániel Gazdag was also involved in that session, having recovered from his coronavirus infection and passed the subsequent mandatory tests.
It was a bit difficult for the squad because heavy rain had thoroughly soaked the pitches at the Telki training centre, but Thursday afternoon eventually saw the team participate in a full training session before the day ended with video analysis of the German national team. There will also be an official training session and press conference on Friday afternoon.
Saturday's match against Germany will be officiated by Spain's José María Sanchez, assisted by Iñigo and Raúl Cabañero, with Alejando Hernández as the fourth official.
