Puskás Aréna: All you need to know about opening match versus Uruguay

The completely-rebuilt Puskás Aréna opens its doors on Friday 15th November with Uruguay the opponents for Marco Rossi’s Hungary, the match also serving as a farewell match for former assistant coach – now head coach of the Under-21s – Zoltán Gera, who won 97 caps for Hungary.

Tickets for the match, which kicks-off at 19:00, can be purchased either online at meccsjegy.mlsz.hu, or in person at ticket offices listed on https://www.jegy.hu/jegyirodak.

Ticket sales – first phase; for MLSZ Szurkolói Klub (Supporters' Club) members:

As is customary, tickets will initially only go on sale to MLSZ Szurkolói Klub (SZK) – Hungarian Football Federation Supporter’s Club – members. Tickets will be available from 10 a.m. on Friday 25 October with a limit of six tickets per application. During this priority sale period for members, all tickets purchased must be done so for Supporter’s Club members only. You can become a member of the Supporters' Club at szurkoloiklub.mlsz.hu.

It is also worthwhile being a Supporter’s Club member even after the priority sales period for members, as MLSZ Szurkolói Klub members receive a 15% discount on ticket purchases for the whole duration of the ticket sales. In addition to being able to purchase tickets online during the members’ priority ticket sales period, members can also purchase tickets at the following partner ticket offices:

Ticket sales – second phase:

Tickets go on sale to the wider public at 10 a.m. on Monday 28 October. Tickets may be purchased in person at ticket offices listed at https://www.jegy.hu/jegyirodak. Personal identification will be required when making your purchase as tickets are name-specific. You do not require a Supporter’s Club membership card, and you can also purchase online at meccsjegy.mlsz.hu.

Changing the name appearing on the ticket carries with it a charge of HUF 1,500, and may be done, at latest 72 hours prior to kick-off. Name transfer vouchers may only be purchased at the new online ticket sales platform.

Due to expected high interest in tickets, two new services are being used in order to make customer service more efficient:

1. During times of heavy internet traffic, an “előszoba” (waiting room) system will be in operation where visitors to the site are listed by arrival time, and your expected waiting time will be visible on the waiting room interface.

2. The system will also suggest tickets for you automatically in your chosen sector. Should the suggested seats be suitable for you, you can continue your purchase. Should you wish to modify the seat selection, after deleting the suggested seats you may continue by clicking on the desired sector, whereby a new seat suggestion will be made.

TICKET CATEGORIES:

There are five ticket categories for the match; four tribune categories, as well as the VIP ticket category.

Disabled supporters may attend the match free of charge, whilst their chaperones will automatically be allocated tickets in price category four, for seats in the specially allocated sector area. Please submit your special ticket requests to our partners at InterTicket.

ARRIVING AT THE STADIUM:

Along with the stadium construction the immediate surroundings of the stadium have also been rebuilt, and although the stadium itself is ready, not all the surrounding area will be ready by mid-November. Entrance to the stadium will thus deviate from the previous system.

The stadium area may be entered from Dózsa György út via two entrance gates (III and VI), and from Stefánia út via three entrance gates (X, XI and XIII). Ticket checks will be made at the gates, so we kindly ask supporters to have their valid tickets at the ready in order to speed up entrance to the stadium area.

There are six groups of turnstiles permitting entry to the stadium itself. Three (D, E, F) accessible from the Dózsa György út entrance gates and two (A, B) from the Stefánia út entrance gates, whilst the C turnstiles can be accessed from Thököly út. Please note that due to road closures ticket holders with tickets for turnstile group C may only enter via Thököly út.

We kindly ask supporters to arrive earlier than is usual due to the expected large crowd, and that you follow the entrance instructions on our ticket as well as follow the signs in place. Volunteers will be in place to direct you to the correct entrance gates and turnstiles.

VIP East – from Dózsa György út (Entrance VI), or from Stefánia út (Entrance X)

Disabled supporters may enter the stadium at turnstile groups B and E. Lifts are available.
