Schön arrives to complete Rossi's Hungary squad
All 25 Hungarian national-squad members are now preparing for the World Cup qualifiers against England, Andorra and Albania at the national-team training centre in Telki after striker Szabolcs Schön returned from America on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the last foreign-based squad member, Szabolcs Schön, who plays football in Dallas, joined Marco Rossi's group on Tuesday but only arrived in Telki during the day's training session, so he'll only be able to join his teammates on the pitch in Wednesday's session.
Yesterday's medical tests on Gergő Lovrencsics showed a partial rupture of the ankle ligament, so the Hajduk Split football has already left the training camp, Rossi not looking to call up a replacement at this stage.
Tuesday's schedule included video analysis in addition to the on-pitch training, with the official pre-match training session due to follow on Wednesday, preceded by a press conference with the participation of Marco Rossi and András Schäfer.
Turkey’s Cüney Çakır, who was the lead official in the 2015 Champions League final, will referee this World Cup qualifier against England. His assistants will be Bahattin Duran and Tarik Ongun, and the VAR referee will be Abdulkadir Bitigen.
Hungary host England at 20:45 on Thursday evening, the match being broadcast live by M4 Sport.
