Hungary to start and close World Cup qualifying group against Poland
UEFA has published detailed fixture lists for all the 2020 World Cup qualifying groups.
On Monday night it was revealed that the Hungarian men’s national team was drawn in the same group as England, Poland, Albania, Andorra and San Marino in the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifiers, and by Tuesday the exact schedules had been completed.
Hungary will start the campaign to reach Qatar with a home match against Poland at 20:45 CET on 25 March 2021 before away matches the same month in San Marino and Andorra. After a break of nearly six months, the group continues in September with a home clash against England for Marco Rossi's team before further fixtures in September, October and November, the last of which will be an away fixture on 15th November in Poland.
