MTK stretch lead at top of NB II

A late goal from their top goalscorer László Lencse was enough to hand MTK Budapest a single-goal victory away at Cegléd and increase the club's lead over Kisvarda at the top of Hungary's second division to five points as the league enters its winter break.
MTK's nearest rivals slipped to a 3-1 home defeat against ETO FC Győr but they still enjoy a ten-point advantage over Békéscsaba in 3rd spot despite the latter enjoying a routine 3-1 victory over basement club Szeged, their fourth win in a row.
