Capital-city delight as all four Budapest teams win

MTK were first up, winning 2-1 away at Puskás Akadémia, veteran striker Sándor Torghelle scoring the winner with five minutes of normal time remaining. Ferencváros then overcame Haladás with relative ease at home in the Groupama Aréna, new summer signing from Honvéd, Dávid Lanzafame scoring twice in ten second-half minutes after Gaál had cancelled out Roland Varga's opener for the hosts.

The other match on Saturday saw Debrecen dispatch Diósgyőr 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Dániel Tőzsér and Márk Szécsi before Sunday's two fixtures featured a narrow 1-0 success for Újpest over newly-promoted Kisvárda - Diallo with the all-important goal in the 66th minute - before Danila's 48th-minute penalty handed Honvéd the three points in their home contest againat Paks, this being the final match before the renovation of the Bozsik stadion. The sixthscheduled match of the round between Vidi FC and Mezőkővesd was postponed due to Vidi's continued pursuit of UEFA Champions League qualification.
