Dzsudzsák: I've come to a really big club in Asia

Hungary men's international captain confirmed to mlsz.hu before the official announcement that he will continue his club career at United Arab Emirates club Al Ain.

The 108-times-capped Hungarian international winger's new club were 2018 Club World Cup finalists and this season, they would like to reclaim the UAE championship title and go as far as possible in the Asian Champions League, a tournament they've won once in 2003 and reached the final of in 2005 and 2016. Two years ago, they reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup and at home they lifted the UAE league title 13 times and the national cup on seven occasions.

"I'm very glad that I've arrived at one of Asia's most significant clubs", Dzsudzsák told mlsz.hu. "I am very happy that a few days after my previous team decided they weren't counting on me in the future, I've signed for a cub which is clearly a step forward compared to my last side. Their infrastructure is unbelievable, (as is) their history, their fans and the team is currently fighting for the league title and the Asian Champions League too, the latter being the competition in which they'll next play, next week. Al-Ain have already won that tournament once in the past, are 13-time national champions and were Club World Cup finalists in 2018. The league and the Asian Champions League are, I feel, exceptional opportunities for serious challenges ahead of Hungarian national-team matters and I'll be able to prepare in the best possible way so that I can help the team as much as I can".

Al-Ain's current head coach is Pedro Emanuel, who previous led Limassol in Cyprus to Cup and Super Cup glory. Dzsudzsák made his league debut for the club this week and is avaiable for selection in the Asian Champions League next week.
