Elite-round opponents revealed for U17 and U19 men's teams
Hungary Men's U17 and U19 squads now know who they'll need to beat in order to reach their UEFA European Championship tournament finals next summer.
Hungary's U17 and U19 men's teams both reached the UEFA European Championship elite rounds again this season and now the two squads know which other nations they will play at this stage in springtime after the 32 remaining nations were drawn into eight groups of four in Nyon earlier this month.
Hungary Men's U19s, coached by Antal Németh, progressed as first-round group winners in autumn and now they will do battle with Germany, Norway and Croatia for a place at the tournament finals in Armenia. Croatia will host the mini-tournament between 20th and 26th March 2019.
Meanwhile, Sándor Preisinger's U17 side will host their elite-round group which will include Belgium Norway and Bosnia, the matches taking place from 26th March to 1st April. Belgium matched Hungary's feat in topping their first-round group without conceding a goal in autumn 2018, while Norway finished second in their group and Bosnia qualified for the elite round as one of the best third-placed teams.
