Ferencváros Women become Hungarian champions too!

Fradi reached the championship final with a flawless performance during the standard league programme, so started the best-of-three championship final against Győri ETO as clear favourites. In the first match last week, ETO lost a close match at the Groupama Arena, but Fradi's second victory in Győr was much more emphatic.

The Budapest club took the lead in the 10th minute through Fanny Vágó and doubled it in the 26th minute when Evelin Fenyvesi shot under the crossbar from just inside the penalty area. That lead became three goals just before half time when Eszter Csigi scored from the penalty spot.

Fradi were still dangerous in the second half but didn't manage to score another goal, their 3-0 victory already easily enough to secure their fourth league title in a row and sixth overall.

MTK took the championship bronze medal after beating Puskás Academy 2-0 in the 3rd/4th play-off.
