FIFA rankings: Hungary Women up to 43rd, Men stay 51st
In the last FIFA world rankings lists of 2018, Hungary Women leap two places to 43rd after defeating Malta twice and Estonia 4-0, while there is little change in the men's list which sees Hungary stay in 51st position.
Evelin Mosdoóczi (pictured) scored Hungary's final goal of 2018 in the confident 4-0 vicotry over Estonia which helped Edina Markó's squad move into 41st spot in the December edition of the FIFA women's rankings, a list which is headed by USA ahead of Germany, France, England and Canada.
Meanwhile, there was no significant change in the latest men's edition so Belgium continue to top the list one point ahead of France with Hungary stagnant in 51st place. Marco Rossi's next chance to affect their position comes on 21st March when they start their 2020 European Championship qualifying campaign away against neighbours Slovakia.
