Injured Kádár replaced by Attila Szalai in men's national squad

The young defender steps in to replace the experienced but injured Tamás Kádár.
Dinamo Kiev defender Kádár didn't play for his club at the weekend due to injury and the latest update is that he unfortunately stands no chance of recovering in time for the international period. Therefore, Hungary head coach Marco Rossi has drafted in Apollon Limassol defender Attila Szalai to bolster his defence for the opening match of the Puskás Aréna against Uruguay on Friday 15th November and the crucial UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier away against Wales four days later.
Szalai had originally been selected for the Under-21 squad but will now join up with his new teammates at Telki on the evening of Sunday 10th November.
