OTP Bank Liga: Vidi steal a march on Fradi

Indeed, three of those were goalless draws as defences dominated proceedings on a weekend when there were only six goals across six matches. The main movement in the league table took place at the top as Videoton took top spot thanks to their single-goal victory at home to Debrecen, Marko Scepovic with the crucial strike in the 20th minute. They capitalised on a slip-up by their only title rival Ferencváros who could only draw 2-2 at home to Paks. Indeed, Fradi were indebted to Roland Varga for even a single point, his 95th-minute penalty at least salvaging something from the match.

Videoton now lie on 58 points at the NB I summit, two points ahead of Ferencváros on 56, who in turn a massive 18 points clear of Újpest in third position.
