Raba ETO crowned Hungarian futsal champions

Raba ETO took the Hungarian futsal title back to Győr this week after a decisive 3-1 third-leg victory over MVFC Berettyóújfalu on Sunday.

The club from Győr won the first two matches of this Championship final tie in confident fashion and could therefore seal their latest title success on Thursday with a third win in a row against MVFC Berettyóújfalu.

Although ETO fell behind in the second minute, talisman Zoltán Dróth equalised in the fourth minute before Al-Ioani handed them a 2-1 half-time lead.

Győr continued to dominate in the second half but it was only near the end that Amrani could confirm victory with his side's third goal to seal the 2017/2018 league title triumph.

In the bronze-medal match, FTC 6x6 Taxi and Colospectrum Aramist, engaged in a titanic clash and, just as they had in the first leg between the two, Colorspectrum eventually prevailed after extra time and penalties, thereby winning the best-of-three tie 2-0 and ensuring the bronze medal would be theirs.
