Rossi: Kerkez won't have any problems in England

Milos Kerkez will continue his career at Bournemouth in the English Premier League, making him the second player after Dominik Szoboszlai to move to Europe's strongest domestic league this summer transfer window.

The Hungarian men's national-team coach Marco Rossi has previously stated several times that it's always good news for the national team if a member of the squad moves to one of the top leagues or to a stronger league or team than before. This is obviously applies to Kerkez too.

"As in the case of Dominik Szoboszlai, and hopefully soon also in the case of others, this is a big step forward in Kerkoz's career", Rossi told mlsz.hu. "The task of every player is to work on his development, to be able to play in better and better teams and in better and better leagues. Milos had inquiries from several clubs in various leagues, but in the end he decided on the Premier League. Although Bournemouth is not one of the top teams in the English national championship, the fact that it's in the Premier League shows that it's one of the stronger clubs across Europe. As a result, I'm sure that Milos will learn and develop a lot at Bournemouth, from where he will eventually be able to take the next big step in his career. He's still very young and although he has improved a lot so far, he still has plenty of potential to become a much better player than he is now. All in all, I think Milos has made an excellent decision regarding his career this transfer window. In a good sense, Milos is a particularly aggressive and fast player, so I don't think he'll have any problems with the style of play typical of the Premier League. The English Premier League has a much more physical style than that of the Dutch, but this won't cause him any problems".

The English Premier League season starts on 11 August with Szoboszlai's and Kerkez's new clubs, Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively, will meet early on in just the second round of fixtures, on 19th August at 16:00 Central European time (CET).
