Rossi's squad nearly at full strength for Tuesday training session

Only Ádám Lang missed afternoon training after suffering a minor injury on Monday.

Monday's session had seen the latest Hungary men's squad trained in two groups in Telki, one half doing regeneration work while the other half who hadn't played at the weekend participating in a full-fledged training session.

Moving on to Tuesday and Marco Rossi could count on every one of his players except for Ádám Lang, who received a kick on his ankle during Monday's session, so the technical and medical staff decided the defender should skip training as a precaution.

Before Tuesday's session, Zsolt Nagy, who has returned to the national team after a long absence, and Roland Sallai, who has excelled in the colours of German club Freiburg in recent weeks, spoke to the attending media:

"I was constantly trying to build myself up after the long injury, and now that I've fortunately completely caught up (with my fitness), I'm motivated and looking forward to the challenges ahead. I'm sure Serbia would like to take revenge after our away victory, so I expect a battling opponent, but our goal is still the same as in Belgrade; we want to defeat them," Zsolt Nagy stated in response to a journalist's question, adding that it is a great motivation for him that Milos Kerkez is performing well in his position and he is confident that the competition for the left wing-back position will motivate the Bournemouth wide player as well.

Meanwhile, Roland Sallai has contributed to Freiburg's start of the season with goals and good performances and he is confident that he can repeat this form for the national team: "I'm happy about the successful start of the season and I hope to continue the good streak in national-team matches too. However, the most important thing is to give an outstanding performance as a team against Serbia and get a good result against them again. I'm sure that the defeat in Belgrade was very painful for them and they'll play against us with extra motivation, but as a team we can beat them for a second time (in this group). It'll count for a lot that we'll play in front of a full house, in front of one of the best fan bases in the world; for them, we want to perform well on Saturday. Our goal is to qualify for the European Championship, so a good result against Serbia would be a very important step towards that," Sallai emphasised.
